2026 Town and County Tax Bills will be mailed out on or before December 31st, due and payable:

January 1^st thru February 2nd without penalty.
February 3rd thru March 2nd there will be a 1% penalty.
March 3rd thru March 31st there will be a 2% penalty.

Town Hall will be closed on January 1^st, January 2^nd, January 19th, and February 16^th.

March 31st is the last day to pay at the Town of Montgomery.  After that date, you must call the Commissioner of Finance in Goshen at 845-291-2480 for payment information.

January: Monday – Thursday: 8:15-3:30, Friday: 8:15-12:15.
February 2nd: 8:15-5:00.

February: Monday & Wednesday: 8:15-3:30, Friday: 8:15-12:15
March 2nd: 8:15-5:00.

March: Monday: 8:15-3:30, Friday: 8:15-12:15.
March 31st: 8:15-5:00.

Online payments are available. You may pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card (2.45% convenience fee), Visa debit card ($3.95 flat fee), or by electronic check ($1.75 flat fee).
